We also serve animal recue organizations, in the same capacity. Proof of income is required. There are no residency requirements. All animals must have an appointment and arrive in their own carrier. The first half of training will be at 1:00 pm and should last about one hour. The second half begins at 2:00 pm and should take about 2 hours. If you have done some of your training, you only need to attend the part you need. If you are just beginning training please be there at 1:00 pm. Bring your friends! Dogs have been moving into the shelter so it is important for everyone to complete volunteer training during this next class. Thank you again for your support. Friends For Life received a $1000 grant from the Bissell Pet Foundation. We are going to use the money to help area pet owners spay and neuter their pets. Friends For Life will be paying part of each spay and neuter done by SpayWay to reduce your cost to a very very affordable price. ONLY 40 APPOINTMENTS WILL BE OFFERED. One pet per family. Your pet must already be up to date on all vaccinations. You MUST make your appointment by telephone.
