Born 9-17-2021 This sweet survivor has a mix of 28 BREEDS identified. This mother dog and her 3 female pups were dumped and then taken in by our shelter. All of Talia's pups found their homes and now this sweet momma deserves a home of her own. Talia loves and craves attention! She rolls over on her back for a belly rub continually. She plays well with the biggest male dog in the shelter and also the oldest female dog. She loves a good chew toy. She may be food protective due to the fact she was dumped and had to scavenge for food. She was actually found in the middle of a road eating a dead animal. She is very food/treat motivated.
This happy girl was struggling with a condition called "Happy Tail Syndrome" where she kept hiting her tail on the kennel wall. After many trials to keep her tail, the final step was to shorten her whip length tail. She now has a bobtail. She is so happy with it! See her show her butt for the photo.
