This little guy wandered in to our garage after watching his mom get fatally hit by a car down the street.  He was hungry and afraid when he found us, and so adorable that we couldn’t bear to turn him away.  He immediately bonded with our children and our other dogs, and we all enjoy having him around.
 
Trooper appears to be around 12-14 weeks old.  He looks just like an English Springer Spaniel.  He has those beautiful spaniel ears and wavy fur, while the polka-dotted markings on his lanky body resemble a true hunting dog.  He probably won’t be any bigger than around 40-50 lbs. full-grown.   He has proven to be extremely intelligent and highly active.  He needs to be in an active home where he can be included and able to burn all that energy, or he will probably be quite the troublemaker!  He is great with other dogs and children. 
 
We are going to get a crate for him today and begin working on crate training and potty training.  I’ll let you know how that goes…
