After receiving several messages about this dog being in danger at a truckstop near Clinton, she was captured.  She had befriended several caring people that did feed her, she still was not social enough to be picked up.  

Maple has now been socialized and started obedience training.  She does know "sit" and she does come once she knows you.  She is somewhat protective of her food and toys so she will need close supervision while introducing her to other animals.

Maple is craving attention.  She wants desparately to have a home.  She truly wants to be an indoor pet.  We wonder if she was originally kept inside and then was lost or dumped.  Such a mystery on stray dogs.  Her potential is unlimited....companion, protector, guardian, playmate.
