Gracie Luv is a rescued pup from a truck stop.  She was being given away (along with siblings) and they said she was a Wirehaired Dachshund and Shih Tzu mix.  She is definitely a MIX, we can all agree on that but her origin is really unknown. 

Gracie is a fiesty puppy that doesn't really know her size.  She is in a foster home with other small adult dogs that think she is a real pest.  She is learning about pack order quickly.  She also tries to play with an adult Lab under strict supervision.  Gracie tries to leap and nip his ears. 

The family cat has been working with Gracie as well but we didn't check that she was "Good with cats".  The cat tolerates her but again her puppy play kicks in and she gets too rough and gets a good slap and the cat goes away. 

Gracie right now is 100% puppy.  She is teething so will need lots of chew toys and treats.  She has been in quarentine so we are working with puppy pads, not going outside at all yet.  With the extreme cold weather, she may need to be puppy pad trained while housetraining begins. 

Her final vetting will be Dec 22 with shots and spay.
