Putter is a highly active young pup.  She has started the basic obedience and is progressing slowly.  Putter knows the commands but it takes several minutes at the beginning of each session to calm down enough to follow them.  She wants to please so as she matures, she should teach herself to calm on her own. 

Putter is an Alpha personality and somewhat food protective.  She has not been successful around cats.  Her chase drive is just too high at this stage but this also could be worked on as she matures. 

Small children can also be an issue at this point as she still jumps and nips when she if first allowed into the house or when you first come home and greet her.  She just gets SO EXCITED!!  Older children with a little patience and adults can easily manage her.
